**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Care Assistant (RCA) to join our team. The RCA will play a crucial role in delivering personal and supportive care to residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and overall well-being. This position requires a team-oriented individual with excellent communication skills who can create a positive experience for our residents.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide direct personal care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Monitor and document residents' physical and emotional well-being, reporting any changes to the nursing staff.
- Assist residents with meal preparation and feeding as needed, ensuring dietary requirements are met.
- Help maintain a clean and safe environment for all residents by adhering to hygiene and safety protocols.
- Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote a sense of community and enhance their quality of life.
- Foster meaningful relationships with residents and their families, offering support and companionship.
- Assist with medication management under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
- Participate in regular training and professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in resident care.

**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent required; certified nursing assistant (CNA) certification preferred.
- Previous experience in a caregiving role within a healthcare setting, particularly with elderly or disabled individuals, is a plus.
- Demonstrated compassion, empathy, and patience in providing care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
- Availability to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

**Physical Requirements:**
- Ability to lift and transfer residents safely, using proper techniques and equipment.
- Capable of standing and walking for extended periods and performing physical tasks as required.
